I haven't slept yet, but I wanted to make a post before I pass out haha. So I know that I have a long way to go until I reach my ideal weight, but I am seriously so glad that I'm improving myself each day. It just feels so insane to know that I'm actually getting smaller, you know? Small, thin, skinnier, slender, slimmer--all these words I have never used to describe myself. I never associated my self with them since I was always the "big girl." Now, some of my friends say "Wow Carolyn, you look slimmer!" and that just makes me feel so happy and motivated to work harder. It's definitely more difficult now because the fall semester is about to start and we are trying to say goodbye to old friends and say hello to the new ones. Last week I did a lot of eating out because I wanted to catch up with old pals, but I knew that this week I had to go back to my healthy lifestyle. Classes start in a few days and I am more than excited. However I know that it'll be really busy and I might make bad choices due to stress and convenience. I'm going to do my best to live a better lifestyle! I already feel and see a difference so I can't stop now.
I decided to put a few photos of my weight together so that I could really see the improvement. It's hard to really SEE a difference until you actually do something like this. Keeping track of your efforts and goals is so important. Before, I used to be so ashamed of my weight. Now, I really don't mind that much because I know that I won't be that amount in the near future. Gotta stay strong and motivated! |
