When times get hard, sometimes we just need a little pick-me-up.
When it comes to weight loss and living a healthier lifestyle, everyone seems to forget that there is a psychological/mental aspect to it. We tend to think that “oh we are out of shape, we need to get skinny” and that’s it. It’s not that easy—you have to want to be in shape. You have to be internally motivated and have that fire within you to initiate that push towards healthiness. For years and years I’ve battled with my weight. It has impacted me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve come to the conclusion that in this whole world, there is only one version of you. No one will have the same beauty and charm that you possess, no one can have the exact same talent and skills that you have. You are unique, special, and one of a kind. Use this knowledge to make yourself the best that you can be. We all strive to be a better version of ourselves. Don’t compare yourself to anyone, and go at your pace—no one is rushing you. This is your body and mind. Before you know it, you will reach the finish line that you’ve been dreaming about.

This quote is actually on my lock screen and it's from a show called Soul Eater. It reminds me that in order to be in peace with myself, I have to be content mentally and physically. Some people just focus on one part of it and that leads to many problems. You just have to find a balance for yourself. So that you could also become a "sound soul."
